Tyrrells has just launched a new publication – the ‘Owner-Builder Handbook’. A comprehensive yet easy to read 100 pages, this is an essential reference tool for any owner-builder.
The ‘Owner-Builder Handbook’ is approved by the Office of Fair Trading New South Wales. After reading the introduction and registering online, you will receive access to the online version of the Handbook.
The Handbook is FREE if you simply want to access all the helpful information it contains
Tyrrells also provides a self-paced Owner-Builder Course and Certificate. To receive the Certificate (and you can’t apply to be an owner-builder without one), you will be required to correctly answer a number of questions about owner-builder responsibilities. The cost of the Tyrrells’ Owner-Builder Course Certification is $85.
Important note: The Office of Fair Trading has now developed its own owner-builder education course, which will be introduced on 1 May 2010. As a result, the Tyrrells Owner-Builder Certification Course will only continue as an approved course up to and including enrolment by 30 April 2010. If you have enrolled with Tyrrells by 30 April 2010 our understanding is that you have until 31 August 2010 to submit your application to the OFT for a permit based on certification by Tyrrells. But you must enrol by 30 April 2010 and submit your documentation by the due date.

Does it contain information required to complete course. Do I register before 30/4/10. Is the full cost $85.
