30 Years as a self employed builder led me into the field of building consultancy in 2006. The years of experience in the building industry and in depth knowledge of building structures both new and older styles and the problems associated with them allows me to report on all aspects of defects and the best method of rectification. I also have an extensive knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and the Standards as they relate to new buildings. These modern rules however do not always apply to older buildings which in some cases can have better qualities than their modern counterparts.
